# **1 whale (name “CHIA” on Telegram) swap $2M 3CRV and get 0.05 USDC through Kyberswap Aggregator, why? ** **DataFi thinks it may be due** 1. There is a bug that displays the wrong oracle price when the 3CRV-USDC pool has no money but the web still shows the correct amount that CHIA received. 2. CHIA forgot to tick the CURVE option (the team has tested it and still finds it’s almost because of Kyber). However, if the price impact is too high, the transaction will not be allowed, so this case does not seem to be feasible. Then following the story that KyberSwap and CHIA exchanged, it seems the problem lies there. Kyber is currently investigating. **What’s the lesson learned? ** 1. Transactions of large amounts should be tested first 2. Check to see if an intermediary like Kyber has any liquidity pools, which pool is attached to which route, whether that route has money or not. In the case of CHIA, the correct route is taken without money (as shown). #DataFi #USDC #SHARE #Kyber
