# **The best gaming smartphone of 2023 has arrived** **Despite the comments for the gaming smartphone market from Xiaomi head Lu Weibing, Asus still develops a gaming phone that games most awaited player, ROG Phone 7 Pro.** Back last year, Mr. Weibing said gaming smartphones have become obsolete and they will be killed by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This implies that the performance of high-end phones using this chip will be no less than the performance of gaming models. However, Asus does not seem to accept this fact as the company will soon introduce the latest ROG Phone 7 Pro gaming smartphone. Although the product launch has not taken place yet, high-quality images of the phone are already starting to appear. The first image involves the ROG Phone 7 Pro with the featured fan accessory. It will provide better cooling of the SoC system on the product, thus helping to increase performance, or at least keep performance constantly high. Other images show the screen and some interesting details also show up. Firstly, Asus clearly doesn’t mind the frame. Second, there’s a cutout at the top of the screen, and it’s not centered, but skewed to the edge (due to the front camera being skewed to the edge). The main camera block still looks like its predecessor. The report says that ROG Phone 7 Pro will come with 16 GB RAM, 256 GB or 512 GB internal memory, a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. These renders were posted by leak expert Evan Blass – who is known for many leaks before becoming real. At one point Evan Blass provided very accurate images of the Sony Xperia 5 II, Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Buds Live and Xiaomi 12 before their official launch.
