# **This simple tip can save you a lot of time and money if your iPhone is already “updated” to iOS 16 ** Nearly all iPhone users have experienced a situation where there are too many photos and videos Takes up all the memory on your smartphone. Having too many photos and videos on your smartphone (smartphone) means you’ll need to buy more iCloud storage. And having to manually delete photos and videos that you no longer need is obviously a difficult and time consuming challenge. But many iPhone users still don’t realize that if their smartphone has been updated to iOS 16 or later – they have a tool to help them save both time and money to get more iCloud storage. This very useful tool is located in the Photos app – and it will remove duplicate images. This feature automatically detects snapshots that you may have saved multiple times and allows you to delete them immediately. To find it, just open the Photos app, then go to the Albums section and scroll down until you see Utilities. Here you click on a special folder called Duplicates where you will be able to see all the duplicate images you have stored on your device. You can check and select Merge to remove any duplicate images or videos or even bulk merge by clicking Select in the upper right then Select All ) and Merge. Once you have deleted all the duplicates, the folder will be gone. It should be noted again that to perform this trick, you need to have iOS 16 and later updates installed. If you don’t have iOS 16, you won’t be able to access this feature.
