Xiaomi makes waves again with a new pair of cheap phones

## **Not long after launching the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ series of phones, Xiaomi has caught the eye with a new pair of low-cost phones.** Brand Xiaomi’s subsidiary has quietly added two cheap Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ models on Mi’s global website. The quiet launch can be attributed to the fact that this product duo is aimed at a much lower-end segment than previous launched models, but not because of that they are looked down upon. Redmi A2 is a phone with a 6.52-inch touch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, comes with a MediaTek Helio G36 processor chip with 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of expandable internal memory. , 8MP rear camera with QVGA secondary lens and 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The 5,000 mAh battery supports 10W charging. A 10W charger comes in the box and charging is done via microUSB. Not stopping, an “unbelievable” thing is that the device runs Android 12 Go Edition operating system – an old version. So perhaps users will not be surprised to learn that the product does not support 5G. Fortunately, Xiaomi equips Redmi A2 with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Redmi A2+ does not seem to be different from Redmi A2, with the only added point being the fingerprint sensor at the back. It will not be surprising that they are all sold at a cheap price when they are released to the market in the not too distant future. Users can choose from Redmi A2 and A2+ with Light Blue, Light Green and Black colors.
